Primary Release History for Mapcon for Windows

Mapcon version 5.10 (continued)                                           2009

         Changed lookup to a drop down selection box on PM descriptions, Routes, and Safety Procedures when selecting a code of Equipment, Location, Cost Center, or Route.

         Added ability to re-size PM frequency windows.

         Widened the Project window and added a page for the Gantt chart.

Two new Optional Modules (purchased separately):

         New Optional module for adding Sites.

o       Think of Sites as a Super Zone. Beyond the capability of standard Zones, businesses with multiple locations spread across hundreds or even thousands of miles can share the same MAPCON system. Sites include having purchase orders with unique Company headers and different ship to/bill to addresses. When Receiving, view just the receipts for your facility.

o       Similar to Zones, users might only have access to just their Site, or administrators can view information at all Sites.

o       An example of a huge Advantage using Sites: Do you need a critical spare part, and can t wait 3 weeks for it to be shipped from overseas? Check your other Sites from within Mapcon, then create a Mapcon requisition and have them send you the one in their stockroom within days.

         Optional Module: Lock Out / Tag Out

o       When a LOTO safety procedure is needed to perform PM work, print a Tag to put on the lock. Works with Label Matrix so you can design what information is included on tag, such as work date, lock position, name of worker, etc.
