Separate Tasks into Smaller Steps

Not everything can be done at once.

It will take time to input all the Equipment information, so break down the work into manageable sections.

For example, setup all equipment in one area or for one assembly line before inputting others. Some people start with the most critical equipment  first, others "start at one end and go to the other". Equipment setup in a hierarchy should be input from top to bottom.

For work orders, walk through several from start to finish and monitor your procedures to be sure you are capturing all desired data.

When information is flowing as expected, apply what you've learned and expand to other areas.
