Definition

Location Keywords allow selecting and sorting for reports. Keywords should represent a generic class of Locations. For example,

they can have single characteristics such as Lounge or Wing, or multiple characteristics such as Lounge-Teacher, Lounge-Student, East-Wing, West-Wing, etc. The most important characteristic should be listed first.

Keywords cannot have spaces. Spaces will be replaced with underscores. Recommend using either dashes or underscores consistently; do not mix naming conventions.

Specification Titles are optional fields that attach to a Keyword. The Location record can have up to sixteen Specification Titles and fields for data entry beside each Specification Title. Each Keyword can have different Specification Titles.

For example, if the keyword is Hallway, then Specification Titles could include: Flooring, Lighting, Water-Fountain, Length, Width, Square Footage, etc.  If Classroom is the Keyword, then Specification Titles could include: Square Footage, Blackboards, Chairs, Desks, etc.
