Requested Parts

Allow employee to Authorize requested parts.

Requisitions

A checkbox on the Set Purchasing Software Switches window specifies if Requisitions must be approved before being added to Purchase Orders. Only an Employee with this authorization can approve Requisitions.

If the software switch for Use Department Level Authority is turned on, then an additional parameter will prompt for the dollar amount.

View dollar limits for approval of Requisitions on the Department Maintenance window (Cost Accounting Administration Menu, Maintain Departments).

Department Level Authority can be setup so if a user in that department does not have a sufficient dollar level to authorize the requisition it will automatically be forwarded on to the next Supervising Department, and so on until it reaches a Department with enough authority to cover the cost.

Inventory Returns

A checkbox on the Set Issue and Return Software Switches window specifies if an Inventory Return must be approved. If approval is not required, the Return is automatically approved when it is created. Otherwise, only an employee with this authorization can approve the Return.
