SET COMPANY NAME

From any workstation, double-click the MAPCON Toolbox icon for the login prompt.

Login using User Name SPV and password SUPERVISOR  (not case sensitive). Click OK.

TECH TIP:

You can change this password if desired. Within MAPCON,  type Ctrl+P for the Change Password utility window.

(See Step 3 - Setup Users in the Implementation manual for more details.)

Each user can change their own password using this utility.

When first setting up a large number of users, give them all a password of MAPCON, then instruct them to change it immediately after logging in the first time.

Click Admin icon, Utilities Menu, System Setup Utilities Menu, Account Setup.

Enter Company Name.

TECH TIP:

There are many controls on this screen.   Don't touch them unless you know what you are doing.

View the F1-Help message for each field, or please contact a knowledgeable MAPCON Support Specialist for assistance and guidance.

Click the Save icon, then logout of MAPCON.

Login to MAPCON again. The Company Name will appear at the top of the MAPCON window, and also at the top of all printed forms (work orders, purchase orders, issue tickets, etc.).
