Work Request Printing
Access via the Work Order Icon : Print Work Requests.
Sort By - Select the sort order for the Work Requests. Select from:
Work Request #
Priority
Importance
Dispatched To
Note - If you wish to print Work Requests and Work Orders for a selected Employee, use the print function on the Dispatching screen. This screen allows you to intermix Work Requests and Work Orders in the same print run and to rearrange the order in which they are printed.
Select from one of these Print Options. Select from one of the following Print Options.
Print all unprinted Work Requests
Print a selected unprinted Work Request
Reprint a selected Work Request
If you are selecting Work Requests the following panel will appear;
Work Request # - Enter the number of the Work Request to be printed or reprinted. A lookup is provided.
Print Dispatched Only - Place a check mark in this check box to print only those Work Requests that have been dispatched to an Employee.
Print - Make sure your selections are correct and click on the Print Button. You will be able to preview the Work Requests before you send them to the Printer.

If you are selecting Work Orders the following panel will appear;

Print Issues with Work Orders - Place a check mark in this check box to print Issues with the Work Orders.
Page for each Issue Ticket - Place a check mark in this check box to put each Issue Ticket on a separate page.
Print - Make sure your selections are correct and click on the Print Button. You will be able to preview the Work Orders before you send them to the Printer.
Work Order Close
Access via the Work Order Icon : Work Order Close.
A Work Order is closed by entering a Completion Date on the Work Order Close screen. Meter or Gauge readings can also be entered at this time if the Work Order is written against a piece of Equipment. The following restrictions apply to closing a Work Order:
All Requisitions and Purchase Orders must be processed if the Purchasing Option has been purchased.
All Issues must be processed if the Advanced Inventory Option has been purchased.
The system will warn you if less than 50% of the Planned Labor has been charged.
Actual Labor can be entered on this screen unless the Timecard Option has been purchased. In that event, a Timecard data entry screen can be invoked from the Work Order screen or from the Human Resources Menu. Actual Labor, Inventory and Purchases costs are tracked if the Costing Option has been purchased. Work Orders cannot be created from this screen. You must use the Work Order screen to initiate and initiate or plan Work Orders.
WO # - Enter the number of the Work Order to be closed. A lookup is provided. The Work Order Lookup will allow you to select by Work Order Number, Work Order Type, or Equipment/Location ID. The Work Order Lookup also allows you to select from Open Work Orders or from all Work Orders.
Completion Date - Enter the Completion Date. A Work Order is considered closed if there is a date in the Completion Date box. You can not close a Work Order prior to closing all Issues, Requisitions and Purchase Orders written against the Work Order.
The Work Order Close screen uses six pages.

Failure Code - Enter a four-character Failure Code. A lookup is provided.
History Extract - Enter up to forty characters that concisely describe the problem and the repair. The Equipment and Location screens have a history page that contains a list of all Work Orders charged against them. Each entry in this list contains the Work Order Number, Failure Code, History Extract and Cost.
Billable - (Service Billing Option Only) Check or uncheck this box to set the default Billing Status of all Labor, Inventory. Requisition or Purchase Order Line Items added to the Work Order. The Line Item's Billing Status can then be changed after the Line Item is added. Checking or unchecking this box after Line Items have been added will reset all Line Items to the default Billing Status.
Downtime Group Box
Hours - Enter the Downtime Hours to be posted. Do NOT enter the total hours. The hours posted will be added to the accumulated hours below the entry box. You can enter negative hours to reset the Downtime Hours or to adjust them. You can also enter hours from the Work Order Close screen.
Minutes - Enter the Downtime Minutes to be posted. Do NOT enter the total minutes. The minutes posted will be added to the accumulated minutes below the entry box. You can enter negative minutes to reset the Downtime Minutes or to adjust them. You can also enter minutes from the Work Order Close screen.
Problem Description - Click on the Zoom Button to add to the Problem Description. You would most likely wish to comment on the nature of the repair.
Comments - Click on the Zoom Button to add any comments about the work completed.

This page is used to charge Labor to the Work Order. Equipment, Location, and other costs will not be updated unless the Costing Option has been purchased.
You can:
Charge labor using Skill Codes (Standard System)
Charge labor using Timecards if the Timecard Option has been purchased
Note - Labor Costs can be calculated using Skill Code Rates regardless of how you charge Labor. However, you must use Timecards if you wish to charge labor using Employee Rates plus Burden.
