Options
The Base System is a fully integrated, single user system that contains Work Request, Work Order, Preventive Maintenance, Human Resource and Inventory modules. Purchasing any of the following options can expand its capabilities:
Advanced Inventory - automatically creates Requisitions when an Inventory Item falls below its prescribed Minimum Level. Provides for Physical Inventory Reconciliation including Cycle Counts.
Costing - tracks costs by Work Order, Cost Center, Department and Charge Code. Costs can be consolidated upward to Ledger Accounts. Separate totals are kept for Labor, Inventory Issues, Purchases and Service Contracts. Totals are kept for the Current Period, Year To Date and Lifetime.
Multiple Databases - allows a single copy of Mapcon Lite to access up to 100 individual databases. There is a charge for each additional database. This is especially useful for clients that provide out source maintenance services.
Multi User - allows simultaneously access by up to six users. User packs are purchased in groups of three with a two pack maximum..
PDAs - provides an interface to PDAs using the Pocket PC operating system. Work Orders can be downloaded to the PDA. In the field, the user can enter time, parts, comments and the completion date of the Work Order. The PDA is then returned to a docking station, data is uploaded and the Mapcon Lite database is updated. Inventory Cycle Counts, with optional bar code, will be available in Release 3.0, version D.
Purchasing - provides a complete Purchasing System with Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Receiving and Invoice Reconciliation. The Purchasing System is totally integrated with Work Orders, Inventory and Costing.
Security - adds a full security system. You can set up Browse-Only users, prevent users from seeing data entry areas, seeing text in data entry areas or changing data. The Security System is based on User Logins, Passwords, Security Categories and Security Levels.
Service Billing - Tracks billable and non-billable costs and produces monthly statements for service locations, such as Townhouses, Apartments and other Rental Properties. Costs include labor, inventory and purchased items or services. A variety of reports are included.
Timecards - add the capability of charging Labor Costs based on Employee Pay Rates that are marked up for a prescribed Burden. Otherwise, Labor Costs are charged using a standard Skill Code Rate. Provides Timecards and Employee Utilization Reports.
