A Mapcon operator then transfers the request to a regular work order for normal processing. Users can also check on the status of their requests with the same ease. WORK ORDERS Create a Work Order from any workstaion using your local intranet. Users can also Complete their orders and add hours worked. Use the quick After-the-Fact work order to track work that's already been done. INVENTORY CONTROL View any inventory item's status from any workstation, including quantity available and location, without taking precious time away from inventory personnel. Issue or return parts to work orders, or conveniently input physical cycle counts at any terminal near the stockroom. PURCHASE REQUESTS Create a Purchase Requisition to ask for new parts to be ordered. REPORTS, MENUS AND SECURITY Users run their favorite reports from any computer without having to log into Mapcon. Custom menus can be setup in iMAPCON to reduce unwanted options and avoid confusion. Integrated security protects sensitive information and allows limitations to be placed on user activity.
