Create Labels

The Report Generator can create a variety of Avery labels.  Avery Label formats are stored in the system so that no setup information, other than the selection of the Label type, is required by the user.  Label forms can be acquired from any Avery reseller.

Proceed with the following steps to print Avery labels using a selected format.

   Start the Report Generator.

   Use the Select Database Lookup to select the database that contains the information you wish to place on the Label.

   Click on the Start Report button.

   Create or select an existing Query.

   Save the Query.

   Click on the Printer Setup button  at the top of the form.

   The Setup popup will be displayed.

   Click on the Label Tab.

The following information will be displayed:

   Click on the radio button "This is a label report".

   Click on the Choose Label Format Button.

  

The Choose Label Format popup will be displayed:

   Select the Label Category.

   Highlight the desired Label Format.

   Click on the OK button.

   Click on the Save Button.

You will be prompted "Convert this report to a label format?"

Click on the Yes Button.

The format for a single label will be displayed.  Right click on the label and select Place Objects.

   Design the label.

   Click on the preview Tab.

   Insert the proper Avery Labels in the Printer.

   Click on the Printer Button to print the Labels.

   Close the Form.

   Save it for later use, if desired.
