Hold the Phone! MAPCON is getting Smarter

We have started development on a Smartphone App for MAPCON and it is coming along very well and pretty fast. This app will be intended to run on the IPhone, Android, Windows Phone Mango and maybe even Blackberry. The capabilities will be the same as our PocketMaint module and will actually be bundled with this module for MAPCON On-Demand and Enterprise. We may add a few management type features like work and purchase order approvals. Unfortunately since this will depend on Web Based technologies, Smartphone capabilities will not be available for MAPCON Professional or MAPCON Lite. We hope to have our first release ready by the end of the year barring any unforeseen hurdles. This is all cutting edge technology, which means it is new, so hurdles could definitely pop-up. This new app works on iPad and Android Pads as well !
