Meet Mapcon Mondays - Featuring Cory Lister
Welcome to another edition of Meet Mapcon Mondays, a monthly interview series starring one of Mapcon's illustrious employees. This time we're sitting down with Cory Lister to hear about his tenure here at Mapcon Technologies, Inc.
Q: Introduce yourself.
A: I'm Cory Lister, Corporate Solutions Manager, the sales manager at Mapcon Technologies.
Q: Without revealing a deep, dark secret (unless you want to), tell us something about yourself most people don't know.
A: I am a descendant of Johnny Appleseed, related on my father's side. My aunt has traced my ancestry back to a former king of Ireland.
Q: Tell us about your Mapcon experience.
A: I'll have been with Mapcon nine years come May 20th. Over the time I've been here, I've seen Mapcon evolve from a Windows environment into a more modern look and feel into the web-based world with being able to use the program through a browser.
Fun factoid: I've been able to go to some interesting places. I've been to the Peterbilt Truck headquarters in Denton, Texas. That was a fun trip. I've been to tradeshows in Nashville, Minnesota, Colorado, and Arizona. It's been fun traveling for the company
One of the best things about MAPCON is the family-like atmosphere. You get back what you put in. That's kind of the philosophy around here.
Q: Outside of work, tell us what you enjoy.
A: My wife and I enjoy traveling. We've been to Las Vegas half a dozen times in the last two or three years. I like video games, movies and enjoy seeing my kid learn martial arts in his karate classes.
Q: What is one aspect about Mapcon you would like customers and future customers to know?
A: We're always here for the customers. They have problem, we'll fix it. We'll never tell we'll never do that. All you need to do is ask. You need it, we'll do it. We always put the customer at the forefront of what we do.
Cory is a valued member of the Mapcon team. We thank him for his service and look forward to his continuing success in bringing the benefits of Mapcon to customers. Join us again next month to get to know another member of the Mapcon family.
