Satellite Dish Manufacturer uses MAPCON

Winegard Company, manufacturer of antennas and satellite dishes, recently purchased MAPCON to track the maintenance of their production lines. Winegard is a company based in Burlington, on the eastern Iowa border near the Mississippi river. In addition to household TV antennas, they make satellite dishes for Dish Network, Sky and Direct TV.

"Winegard has been in business for over 50 years, and we have customers in countries all around the world", says Eric Tucker, Preventive Maintenance Manager and MAPCON Administrator. In fact, Winegard produces about 50% of North America's supply of antennas. Using huge presses to stamp out around 400,000 satellite dishes every month, their latest technology is called Movinview, which allows RVs to track satellites while moving down the road, providing passengers with a clear signal even around winding mountain curves.

Welcome to the family, Winegard Company in Iowa! And, a special thanks to Eric Tucker, Preventive Maintenance Manager, Winegard Company, Burlington, Iowa.
