Luxury Resort picks MAPCON for Facility Management Software

The Sandy Lane luxury resort in Barbados is a perfect match for iMAPCON.  With iMAPCON on board and connected with the Facility Engineering group the efficiency of an already efficient organization is improved. The convenience of in-bound service work requests entered by front of house staff throughout this large complex allows for the engineering technicians to prioritize work and expedite response time. Approximately 80 staff members use iMAPCON in this capacity.

Staff at the World Famous Villa of Sandy Lane along with the Chefs at multiple 5-Star restaurants enter work requests.  Everyone from Spa Directors to managers to personnel at one of the three golf courses value their role of entering work requests and being the eyes and ears of Sandy Lane.  The ease of use and quality of iMAPCON behind the scenes of this 5-Diamond resort assists employees while they provide unparalleled service.  Communication with Engineering via work requests allows Engineering to create work orders and assign them to the appropriate facility tech, an important part of this efficiency.  The mobile ability of browser-based iMAPCON also allows for techs to work from a variety of workstations throughout Sandy Lane.  This mobility will continue with PocketMaint mobile maintenance on hand-held PDA"s.

Sandy Lane is at the top when it comes to World Class recognition.  From numerous appearances on the Travel Channel "Top Ten" list to Tiger Woods and his Bride choosing Sandy Lane as their wedding day location, they continue to remind us of the true definition of luxury.  We at Mapcon are happy to provide the Facility Management Software that helps this resort continue at their already exceptional level.  Welcome Sandy Lane to the MAPCON Family!
