It is with a heavy heart that we announce Jack Meadow passed away at age 89. Known to many long-time users of MAPCON Professional as "The Grandfather of MAPCON", Francis Jackson "Jack" Meadow passed away November 7th, 2011. He was a devoted husband and father who cared immensely for his family. Jack served as a Captain in the U.S. Army during WW2 in Europe and Japan. After working for Dupont in management and maintenance for many years, he became the original developer of one of the very first computerized maintenance programs ever (MAPCON), which is still a leader in the industry and going strong. Jack was a brilliant man and will be greatly missed.
