MAPCON Version 7.1

MAPCON 7.1 has officially been released! What new features does MAPCON 7.1 have?

Equipment Depreciation – to read more about this feature, click here.

Google-style search – Available in MAPCON Pro with Advanced System Utilities. MAPCON’s new search feature allows users to easily and quickly search their MAPCON system! You can also select specific areas of the system (inventory, work orders, etc.) to exclude from the search results, making things even easier. For example, if you are searching for a specific piece of equipment and don’t have time to go through the entire list, you can just use the search feature to locate it. Users can also search for the piece of equipment and select to show any work orders related to it as well.

Inventory Kit Management – Available in Pro with Advanced Inventory. Inventory Kit Management allows MAPCON users to set up a kit, which is a group of parts commonly used for a single job. Creating a kit helps improve accuracy by ensuring the correct parts are included and saves time by having the parts all together.

User-defined work order status codes – Available in Pro with Advanced Maintenance. This new feature makes it possible for users to create their own custom status codes to reflect the current status of a work order.

MAPCON 7.1 has been by far our largest update to date. Other highlights include our improved PM generation process, optional improved icon/toolbar display, and drag and drop attachments. For a more inclusive list of features and fixes, click here.

Update: As of 1/8/21, service pack 7.1.2 has been released. For a list of fixes included, please see the release notes linked above.
