Meet Mapcon Mondays - Featuring Lora Whicker

Welcome to another edition of Meet Mapcon Mondays, a monthly interview series starring one of Mapcon's illustrious employees. This time we're sitting down with Lora Whicker to hear about her tenure here at Mapcon Technologies, Inc.

Q: Introduce yourself.

A: Lora Whicker, Accounting, Payroll, and Insurance among other things.

Q: Without revealing a deep, dark secret (unless you want to), tell us something about yourself most people don't know.

A:My family calls me Energizer Bunny because I can’t sit still.

Q: Tell us about your Mapcon experience.

A: I have been employed for 49 years from the original ownership to the current ownership which has shown me different insights on moving the company forward and many changes coming from clients and employees.

Q: Outside of work, tell us what you enjoy.

A: I love to see new places, so travel is at the top of the list, but I have learned to enjoy doing home projects and yard work which I avoided for many years.

Q: What is one aspect about Mapcon you would like customers and future customers to know?

A: For the clients, I think they should know that they have been at the forefront of developing programs to meet their needs and hopefully make their day less stressful.
