Dollywood picks MAPCON CMMS for PM and Ride Maintenance

It is our honor that they have chosen a top computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) such as MAPCON CMMS for their ride maintenance and facility management software. As part of the Herschend Family Entertainment (HFE) group, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN has World Class recognition. In fact, the parks namesake Dolly Parton makes numerous appearances and owns a home nearby. We at MAPCON are quite happy to be involved with this family-friendly and wholesome venue in such a beautiful part of the United States.

The purpose of MAPCON Maintenance Management Software at Dollywood is to provide ride maintenance technicians and city (facility) maintenance technicians with a reliable process to track scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

Using MAPCON CMMS preventive maintenance capabilities, ride maintenance techs will track and record any and all compliance needs and regulatory issues. User-defined checklists, which conveniently embed within the PM Work Order, are used to "sign-off" on specific ride maintenance tasks. Each technician completes their own scheduled ride maintenance check-list and the name and date is recorded along with each safety and regulatory entry. Using these checklists ensure compliance. Reports are then sent to department managers for review. Unscheduled work will be tracked by in-bound calls to a centralized dispatch who in turn will distribute work orders using the MAPCON maintenance management software. The work will be returned back to dispatch for completion within the MAPCON PM software.
